Info & FAQ's.
As the site develops
and more people email their questions, we will add them here.
Mail
your questions to our support staff.
We are often asked
for help and advice on matters relating to "homebrewing", particularly
when things appear to go wrong. It is always difficult to determine,
without knowing exactly how a kit is "made up," why unsatisfactory
results are achieved, however it is most unlikely that the kit itself
is at fault.
More likely it is
down to your own technique and perhaps not fully understanding what,
sometimes can be basic winemaking or beermaking principles.
The following are
our thoughts on the most frequently asked questions. Hopefully they
will be informative and helpful. The best advice that we can give
is to make full use of resources that are available. Don't just
be content with "opening a can" seek to improve your knowledge and
understanding of homebrewing and reap the benefits.
Make yourself known
at the local "specialist" shop. Take advantage of their experience,
usually they are only too pleased to help. If you are not sure where
to find this use our "find a store" service.
There is a wealth
of reading material available aimed at both beginners and the more
advanced homebrewer. More and more Internet web sites are becoming
available offering advice.
